Basic design
The website uses the standards and guidelines approved by W3C as they are envisaged to be used. This means that XHTML is used to structure the content, and that CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) are used to control the appearance of the website.
Users who have equipment that does not support style sheets access the information on the website even if the style sheets cannot be interpreted. The content is then presented unformatted but still fully functional.
